SLA - Repairs

Quality of repair

We will fix your device to a high standard and return the item in a working condition. We use original, high quality components in our repairs. If under varied circumstances we are unable to use original parts, you will be notified and other recommendations will be given.

Repair wait times

Repairs vary from device to device, with this in mind, we aim to have your device fixed and ready for pickup within 10 Working days. In most cases 10 Working days are enough time for diagnosis, shipping of parts and repair, however if we are running late with the repair we will let you know. Most devices are fixed in a few days though this is not promised and it must be kept in mind.

Condition of device

We aim to return your device to you in the same physical state as the device arrived in minus the changed components. Some devices such as laptops where seals have to be broken to access internals this is not possible, however the casing of the laptop will be in the same condition as it arrived in unless unavoidable (you will be notified if this is the case).

Liability

We are not liable for any previous damage made to the device before we receive it, we are also not liable for any shipping damages to and from us. Please also keep in mind that devices can have multiple issues, for example: If you give us a laptop for a screen replacement and we replace the screen but the laptop continues to not power on, the issues could be coming from elsewhere in the device. If this is the case you will be notified - we are not liable for the other issues in the device and you will still be expected to pay for the screen replacement.

If under any circumstance we damage the device physically while attempting to repair it, we will replace the damaged component free of charge. You will still be expected to pay for the original repair.

Payment

When we repair your device, we will let you know and invoice you the cost of the repair. This will be the same price as the quote given to you prior to the repair, or if changed, you will be notified before we fix the device. You are expected to pay the invoice to receive your device back. We hold the right to keep your device until the invoice is paid in full for the repair. If payment is not received within 3 months of invoice given, we will auction off the device and you will no longer own the device.
